Fire Roll No Ashes video 21: No Ashes - No Tools . Bark, Stone, Hemp . Fire Roll Hemp Primitive

In this video I demonstrate the Rudiger Roll Friction Fire method using only tree bark, a flat stone and Hemp fiber. The point of this video is to prove that tools are not necessary using this method. I refer to this as my No Tool Concept. The tree bark and stone were collected on my hike today. No tools or ash were used and no preparation was required. I have used Yucca, Jute, Wood Nettle, Sisal and a few other plant fibers on natural surfaces without ash as well. The more coarse a fiber is increases your chances of success using this method without an accelerant. I still maintain that accelerants are better to use with this method. Not all fibers will work like this without an accelerant( i.e. Ash, Rust, etc;). Hemp is a very good fiber to use with this method. All natural material can be used with the fire roll and sometimes requires no preparation as demonstrated in this video. Stones can be used in the same manner as above.
