This Manual Audi R8 V8 Sounds Epic! (Ride)

Filmed to prior to the current national lockdown. In this video, I go for a spin in this gorgeous Jet Blue Audi R8 V8 Manual. I have been in several R8's now, but this is the first V8 Manual that I've experienced. I have been in a V10 Manual before which was epic, and also a facelift V8 with the S-Tronic. I refer to this as an OG spec R8 as the earlier batch of V8 cars tend to be Manual. This particular looks amazing in the Jet Blue I think, such a beautiful and different colour, and in fact one of only two that I have ever seen in this colour. Every time I go in an R8, I am left impressed, and this time was no exception. We actually got quite sideways in this car a few times, and it surprised me quite how easily it got sideways, despite being rear biased, as I've not really been sideways all that much in R8's. The car also seems very easy to control sideways, and the gated Manual box is lovely and slick. This R8 is pretty much standard with the standard exhaust but with the valves fully open all the time, so it is a bit louder than stock and just sounds amazing and well judged without being overly loud. Massive thanks to Tom for taking me out in this, this was a bit of a rushed video as he was a bit rushed for time. Unfortunately it looks like I won't be filming another video with this car now, as he no longer owns it. But on the upside, he has just swapped recently for a Manual pre facelift R8 V10, so watch this space. Anyway, hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching.
