This video is about the problem I had with my electronic bass drum pad.The Roland KD-80 or KD-85 pads are moving and shaking, especially with a double pedal.
We show you a simple solution to avoid this and make the KD 80 pad steady.
You only need 2 mounts clamps (standard or MDH-12).I changed the crossbeam bow to the inside to move the kick drum closer to myself. Attache the kick pad tot he 2 L-rods.Make sure the pad is touching ground, otherwise the rack is shaking with a result of unwanted cymbal triggering. It is also possible to fix the Kick pad on an MDS-4 rack, you just have to setup the mount clamps different.
