Sky News host Danica De Giorgio has criticised US President Joe Biden for his “tone deaf” response following the New Year’s attack in New Orleans.

“The leader of the free world seemed more eager to wrap up a press conference on the incident so he could watch the football,” Ms De Giorgio said.

“I think the timing and his wording in particular was inappropriate … And people are looking to leaders during times of crisis. And I think that those comments were wrong and tone deaf.”
