Axil XCOR Earbuds with Hearing Protection - I really wanted to like them...Watch before you buy!

This past year I was diagnosed with light hearing loss in my right ear and moderate hearing loss in my left ear. I now wear hearing aids and am more concerned about not doing any additional damage to my ears. I mostly crossbow hunt, but had a rifle hunt scheduled in Alabama this year. I bought these Axil XCOR earbuds with hearing protection, in hopes that that would solve my problem. My problem was that I needed hearing protection but did not want bulky ear muffs. I thought this might fit the bill.
