Photoshop - Ink and paint a photo

Learn how to convert an image into an ink and paint effect. This video is full of handy ideas and techniques. One is for extracting lines from an image and making them look like inked lines. Then you'll see how to paint on the image very quickly and easily and without needing any real painting ability.
Technique uses layers, art history brush, cutout and texture filter, gaussian and surface blurs, layer blending and more but is really quite easy to create once you see why you are doing each step.
