The number 1 headache for many Word users is multilevel numbering, and in particular how to apply numbering throughout a document so that it always displays correctly, whatever content you add, remove or change around.

So, how do you set up multilevel numbering in Word like 1, 1.1, 1.1.1 or any other style that you need?

How do you control indentation and positioning?

How do you overhaul a large document quickly.

What is the difference between multilevel list definitions and list styles.

This video demonstrates 3 ways to manage your numbering. The third way is by far the best and it's the one I always recommend.
