Named after the French novelist and playwright Jules Verne, France dedicated a restaurant to him inside the Eiffel Tower – yes, that Eiffel Tower! It's on the second level, so if you're afraid of heights, no worries. Chef Alain Ducasse began as manager of the restaurant in 2007 and remains so to this day. The dinner menu consists of either a 5 or 6-course meal of excellent French cuisine that will run you between 190 and 230 euros. The restaurant also offers something called ‘the dinner box’ which gives diners the best seat in the house, champagne, a 6-course meal with wine pairings suggested by the resident sommeliers. Plus, they have the opportunity to meet the chef. This VIP package will cost you 950 euros for a 2-person dinner party.

Breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and volcanoes make this restaurant one of a kind. Using local wine and fresh ingredients, Caldera View Restaurant quickly became a local and tourist favorite. The word means a “large cauldron-like volcanic depression” which is an appropriate symbol for all the warmest, finest, foods in the area. They open at breakfast and go all the way to dinner. If you’re looking for lighter meals, Caldera Restaurant features a Cafe Bar where you can purchase smaller light meals and snacks. Sirocco is a rooftop restaurant on the 63rd floor of Thailand’s Lebua Resort. Customers have a small window to dine here because Ristorante Grotta Palazzese only opens its doors in the summer, and is located in a vaulted limestone cave. You can spot Ristorante Grotta Palazzese below the Grotta Palazzese Hotel and looks out on the sea at 74 feet or 22.5 5 meters above sea level. The restaurant claims that local nobility would hold banquets in these caves as long ago as the 1700s.
