Session Player reacts to "amateur dad band" song

A subscriber sent me a song his band wrote, looking for some constructive criticism. We emailed back and forth a bit, and I got his approval to post it as a reaction video. I have one rule for this video: I will not criticize for the sake of criticism. It will only be constructive criticism. I was nervous to hear the song, but as you'll find out, it's actually pretty good! I have a few thoughts on it, how I would change some of the guitar parts, and how I might trim some of the fat if the goal of this song were to make it a radio single.

NOTE: this band will be going into the studio soon to cut this song, and we will see if they implement any of my suggestions. I'll circle back to it in a future video. 🤠
