This video investigates the dangers to Milk Drying plants. Air is heated to dry the milk in the chamber, Fluidbed and exhausts through cyclones and/or filter(s) to stack. If we take a differential reference sample of the CO in air coming into the Dryer (eliminating external pollution) and subtract it from the exhaust air, then the difference must be something burning in the protected vessel. It is sensitive enough to measure PPM in 100,000's cubic meters of air which makes it extremely popular in the Milk Powder industry, whose primary ignition source is exothermic self heating.
