Port Town Mikuni and two Akiya Houses under $40,000 USD - Old Houses Old Towns of Japan

Here is my first attempt at visiting old houses (traditional houses that are listed for sale) of small towns in rural Japan. My first stop is Mikuni of Sakai city Fukui prefecture. After learning about the history of Kitamaebune (cargo ships) from Edo to Meiji period, I have always wanted to visit more port towns along the sea of Japan. It's more difficult than I thought trying to cover all the topics (houses, people, living environment, etc) in a short YouTube video, but I am hoping these videos can be helpful to people wanting to know more about the rural small towns of Japan.
