Blackboard Ultra at UAA Customizing Your Course Image

You can upload an image to be featured as the course image at the top of your Ultra course, as well as on the grid view of the Courses page for students. Course banners improve the visual appearance of your course and are helpful in setting a tone and identifying the course.

We've created a template in Google Slides that you can use as a starting point: https://docs.google.com/presentation/.... You can go to File and select Make a Copy to copy it to your own drive to edit, then follow the instructions in the slide notes to export a .png image file. Or if you prefer to work in a different program, like Photoshop or Canva, you could go to File, Download, and download it as a .png image file to bring in to your own preferred program. This video walks you through the basics of adding a course image, and then a more in depth walkthrough of how to use this template.
