'Real life' Shrek swamp listed on Airbnb in Highlands - complete with outhouse

Diehard Shrek fans can now sleep in his 'swamp' thanks to a quirky Airbnb in the Scottish Highlands.

The real-life recreation from the iconic DreamWorks film will soon be available for bookings after being revealed on Tuesday, September 26.

The unique accommodation is described as “mud-laden” and “moss-covered” with “overgrown landscaping” - not something most travellers are looking for. But ogre enthusiasts are now being given the opportunity to bag a free exclusive two-night stay at the unusual venue.
