Описание к видео Gong Fu Tea|chA - Episode 18 - Hei Cha (黑茶 | hēi chá)

In this episode, So Han explores the world of Hei Cha, which means "Black Tea" in Chinese. This Chinese black tea refers to fermented teas of various kinds from all over China! If you've had Shu Puer, you've had Hei Cha - because Shu Puer is probably the most famous type of hei cha. Learn about Anhua Hei Cha from Hunan as well as other Hei Cha from Hubei, Sichuan, Gui Zhou, and Guangxi.

Teas featured in this episode include:
-Fu Zhuan, a brick of tea from Anhua, Hunan containing what the Chinese call Jin Hua (latin: Eurotium cristatum), a form of probiotic fungus.
-Qing Zhuan, a very large very dense brick of tea from Hubei.
-Gu Yu Cha, a unique type of hei cha from Guangxi that is aged in the rafters of farmers' kitchens. It can be purchased here: https://westchinatea.com/30g-gu-yu-cha/
