Kumite Kata II

In this video, we demonstrate the execution of Kumite Kata 2, which is a creation of the Machida karate system with the aim of creating a kata with contact and that is developing not only the form of the movements, but also executing the techniques with more functionality for a combat. In Kumite Kata, the student develops the sense of distance, the rhythm, and the precision of the strikes ,it can be practice with parters, heavy bag and pads. Here we used focus mitts.

Kumite Kata 2 is divided in 3 parts.
Part 1: Mae geri followed by jun zuki , front leg walk backward roundhouse kick followed by reverse punch.
Part 2: kizami zuki + gyaku zuki ,walking backward uppercut ,hook with same hand and mawashi geri.
Part 3: Kizami zuki + gyaku zuki, duck ,gyaku zuki , hook front hand and roundhouse kick with back leg.
