Sewerby Hall is uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington East Yorkshire. It is set in 50 acres of early 19th Century parkland.
Having just filmed the wonderful gardens, the zoo and the dinosaur trail found outside Sewerby Hall my good Youtube friends Chris and Anne turn their attention to the Hall itself.
Sewerby Hall is a Grade 1 listed building. It is a large delightful house in a spectacular setting. The Georgian core of the house was built 1714-1720 by John Graeme with later additions in 1808, 1830s, 40s, and 90s.
A total restoration was completed in 2013-2014. This restoration has re-presented the hall as an Edwardian Country house, from around1910. The rooms are furnished with impressive pieces from the Victoria and Albert Museum as well as other important collections. So join with Chris and Anne as they step back in time to the 1910s.
