How to teach your Kindergarten/Grade 1 dyslexic child to read

Parents can start teaching their Kindergarten/Grade 1 dyslexic child to read at home. In this video are a few handy ideas to help you teach your child how to read without causing frustration for you both. First, try to create the right environment with the right resources for study. For example, you can set up a good light in the study area (make sure it’s not too bright for your child). Or, you can try setting up tables near an open window, where natural sunlight can help put your child at ease. You can also avoid printing your reading materials on a plain white paper as white paper poses additional challenges for dyslexic kids. Instead, use colored paper that best suit your child’s need.
