However, the shadow of power cast by Hojjat, another son who is deceitful and corrupt, looms over their lives.

Hojjat, seeking to seize wealth and power, imposes himself on the community as a formidable figure and continuously attempts to pressure Soraya. He aims to dominate the lives of Soraya and Hossein, wanting to force her into accepting his conditions by proposing marriage. Soraya, haunted by the bitter memories of her past with Hojjat and his corruption and deceit, fiercely resists this demand.

In the midst of this turmoil, Hossein, the only innocent and blameless child in this story, spends his days filled with fear and anxiety about his future. He has repeatedly witnessed his mother’s emotional struggles and secretly wishes they could break free from this oppressive power. Feelings of hopelessness and despair constantly overshadow their lives. Thus, Hojjat's attempts to convince Soraya to accept his proposal not only pose a threat to Soraya but also jeopardize Hossein’s future.
