Sometimes, in your PowerPoint presentation, you want to use an image transparent. Do you know, it is possible to make an image transparent in Microsoft PowerPoint? Follow these easy steps.
1. Click on the Insert tab in the top ribbon.
2. In the Illustrations section, click on the Shapes.
3. From the drop-down shapes options, click on the rectangle shape.
4. Draw a rectangle in your slide.
5. Right-click on the shape, and click on the Format Shape from the drop-down menu list.
6. Select the Picture or texture fill radio button.
7. Click on the File… button.
8. Select an image from your computer, and click on the Insert button.
9. Now, drag the slider of Transparency whatever you want to keep the transparency level.
10. Click on the Line Color tab on the left-side panel.
11. Select the No Line radio button, this will remove the outline from the image box.
12. Click on the Close button to close it.
13. To check the transparency of the image, create another shape from the shapes tool.
14. Change the color of the newly created shape, and right-click on it.
15. Click on the Send to Back from the list, and click again on the Send to Back from the sub-menu.
16. Place the image over the solid color shape, and see this is showing the transparency of this image.
