«Nålens makt” (The Power of the Needle): Women of today are embroidering stories about identity, resistance and cultural heritage.

This film gives an insight into to the incredible warm and inclusive environment that was created when women with refugee and migrant backgrounds came together with women from the local community, to the embroidery workshops put up by Arkivet Peace and Human Rights Centre in Norway. The “Nålens makt” concept can easily be adapted to any local community.
