How To Properly take care of your HATCHET FISH!

If you really wanna BESTIE, then go for it! It takes a lot time and people usually try to throw it in a cup and don’t care about it. I do want people at the end of the day to enjoy the fish keeping hobby but too many people are killing the fish because of their toxic waste and don’t clean up after the fish poop or give them to small of tanks so here are the specific requirements needed for your HATCHET FISH :

Minimum for 3 babies 10 gallons
Adults need 20 or more gallons minimum 5 to 8 can live together in 20 to 30 gallon tank
Remember to keep in pairs because they are a schooling fish
Don't listen to people who say less!

Ph range should be around 6.4 (min 6 ,max 6.8)

Temperature should be 75°F minimum and max 80°F so 78°F degrees is perfect

Food:
Most fish pellets work but for an additional snack once a week in small amounts and in addition to pellets:
Dried Blood worms
Potatoes
Zucchini
Broccoli
And Dried shrimp
