Today, we'll take a closer look at what fashion experts and trend forecasters are calling trends for men in 2025. Brands like Gucci, Wales Bonner, and Acne are designing shorter shorts, sometimes as little as 3-inch inseams! Sheer fabrics were also seen on many runways, including Dries Van Noten, Rick Owens, and Craig Green. Loose and billowy silhouettes were featured at Todd Snyder, Fear of God, and Saint Laurent. We saw bold color throughout all the shows, notable examples included Prada, COMME des GARCONS Homme Plus, and Dior. Polo shirts were featured in many shows, including Hermes, Sacai, and Fendi. And big, bold patterns were also consistent across shows like Engineered Garments, Zegna, and Kenzo.
➤ Trends help shape the fashion landscape but it's important to take personal style and taste into consideration when trying to adopt any of these trends. And they don't have to be taken literally. Trends can be mixed; for example, mixing bold pattern with bold color. And trends can also be interpreted; wearing sheer fabrics doesn't mean you can't mix opaque with sheer, for example.
