ABSOLUTE RAIL FEST - EARLY BASS IN MADISON - MY FAVORITE BAIT!

HELLO and welcome to this week's video! With the Wisconsin River blown out, I took the morning to go catch some bass on the Madison Chain and enjoy the year - round catch and release bass season. BASS - NOT ANY OTHER SPECIES. This is not an excuse to target other gamefish species out of season!

That said, I had a hard time keeping them off my OG Rattlin Rapala in the bluegill pattern! Although I caught fish on some other lipless cranks and even a couple on spinnerbaits, there's just something about the Rattlin Rapala that absolutely smashes early season largies!

If you're looking for a fun way to swing hard on some fish before the official gamefish opener on the first Saturday in May, this is hard to beat - and it's a great bite for the kids, too!
