Elephant Sanctuary Experience in Chiang Mai, Thailand 🇹🇭

While in Chiang Mai, Thailand, we spent 48 hours feeding, walking, and bathing elephants in the lush green mountains of the countryside. Elephants have been a tremendous part of the Thai culture for hundreds and hundreds of years, so we looked around for an ethical rescued-elephant experience that would allow us to spend some time with the beautiful, majestic creatures. Whenever we weren’t admiring the elephants, we were either soaking up the tranquility of the region from our riverside bungalow, or taking a scenic bamboo raft ride down a jungle river.
