Hello and Welcome, Alex from Beaglington-On-Sea here to introduce the next episode of 'The Beaglington Review'. I'm going to find out whether I think this model was worth the wait...

Hornby ( ‪@HornbyModelRailways‬ )have finally released their 2021 Range announced Ruston & Hornsby 88DS in the livery of the North British Distillery Co. Ltd. Coming in at three years late, it is great to finally have the model.

This particular version of the 88DS is in a rather smart livery which I find quite reminiscent of those by William Stroudley, and replicates in miniature a real life preserved example of the class, that being No.421415 which was built for the North British Distillery and delivered in March 1958.

Join me as I review this little diesel shunter in this episode of The Beaglington Review!

Also, please bear in mind that this review is made up of the opinions I have formed myself and your own experience may be different. I am merely trying to document my experience of the models I am acquiring.

Anyways, enjoy, and thanks for stopping by!

Alex.
