While the magnificent 7 look to monetize every token used for generative AI conversations, public higher education does not have extensive funds to donate to these magnificent 7. This presentation will showcase how University of Florida tackled this demand with an architecture and model that is in competition with what the commercial offerings could offer and without breaking the bank. The presentation will showcase our journey of How we did it? From self service tools, platforms, governance, access and service life cycle management.
