This lecture examines two of the three broad types of evidence which can be led in court - documentary evidence and real evidence. We look at the advantages and disadvantages of each type of evidence, and some of the admissibility rules for each. We also look at the important issue of authentication, by which an actual witness must stand in court and vouch for the document or real evidence.
