Chopin Scherzo 2 (Op. 31), recorded February 22, 2018

I have this old practice/runthru-video posted on another social media platform, and it keeps getting flagged for copyright issues. I'm curious why - plus I realized I haven't uploaded this piece to this channel before - so I'm testing it out on YouTube.

It's one of the pieces I worked on and competed with in high school, and it has been on the list of pieces to revisit and rework now that I have broadened my musicianship and technique as an adult relearner. This is a recording from February 2018 in a practice room at school, and I think I'd just relearned it for auditioning for Juilliard's Evening (now called Extension) Division in January 2018 for the first time.

It looks like my camera wasn't propped up properly and starts sliding down partway through the recording 😂 Also, I'm playing from memory, even though I have a score up on the music stand (I think I had just started working on Fantaisie Impromptu at the time.)
