We had a break in our Pet Safe inground fence boundary wire. Before we had been using the cable tracker (Cen-Tech #94181) on both sides of the circuit as per the instructions and as shown on other videos, but it was difficult to locate the break because it was sending the tone over both sides of the circuit. By grounding one of the leads using a metal stake, and hooking the other lead to only one side of the circuit, we were able to send the tone over only one side of the circuit, and the tone dropped at the break.
