Care Tips for Grapefruit and Oranges

Описание к видео Care Tips for Grapefruit and Oranges

if you aren’t going to be eating your oranges or grapefruit in the first few days of receiving them, both fruit store best at 45-48 degrees Fahrenheit, so the refrigerator is the best place for them, specifically in the crisper drawer.
You can place the ones you will eat sooner on the counter or table at room temperature, just be sure to keep them out of direct sunlight.
When storing citrus fruits in the refrigerator, avoid wrapping them in a plastic bag because droplets of moisture can get trapped promoting mold growth.
Be sure to take the fruit out of the refrigerator 15-20 minutes before eating to allow fruit to warm up so the juice is sweeter, and skin is easier to peal.
