Welcome to The Healthy Kitchen!
Today's recipe is Shinwari Keema Karahi (Shinwari minced meat recipe). It was originally created by the Shinwari tribe of Pashtuns who live in Northern Pakistan and Afghanistan. It is very easy to cook at home with basic ingredients and it is finger licking tasty. As health is our first concern and we don't want anyone to compromise taste over health so we are here to share our low calorie recipes and we hope that you would like trying our recipes. So eat healthy and stay healthy.

INGREDIENTS:
Shinwari Keema Karahi:
500 g minced Beef (beef keema)
1 tbsp Ghee / butter / Oil
1 inch Cinnamon stick (Darchini)
5 Cloves (Laung)
1 tsp Black Cumin seeds (Shahi Zeera / Jeera)
2 medium Onions - chopped
4 medium Tomatoes - cut in halves
5 Green chilies
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic (Adrak Lehsan)
2 tsp Salt (or to taste)
1½ tsp Red chili powder (Lal mirch)
½ tsp Turmeric (Haldi )
2 cups Water
½ cups yogurt
2 green chilies - garnish
1 inch sliced ginger -garnish
½ tsp Black pepper powder (Kali mirch powder)

NOTE: Herbs and spices are used to add flavor to foods and they are extremely low in calories.

BASICS:
*Beef can be replaced by mutton.
*Here 80% lean and 20% fat is used in beef you can use any meat of your choice.
*Black Cumin seeds (Shahi zeera) can be replaced by White Cumin seeds (Safaid Zeera).
