Japan’s New Era Explained - End of Heisei, Start of Reiwa

The new era will start on May 1st 2019 and the name of said era has just been announced! I explain what the name “Reiwa” means and what this means for Japan. Did you know how Japanese eras are decided? I hope this was informative!
