LA Fires: Insured Losses Could be in the Billions

Insured losses from the California wildfires could be among the highest ever according to Bloomberg Intelligence analysis. The Palisades and Eaton fires have insured-loss potential of around $3 billion to over $10 billion. Bloomberg Intelligence senior US property and casualty insurance analyst Matthew Palazola examines the multi-billion-dollar impact of the fires on the California economy and some of the state's biggest insurers.
