****Your BMW must have a key fob slot in the dash for this system to work****. This is a remote start that we installed on a 12 BMW X5 3.5D. You can use the OEM keyfob to activate and deactivate the remote start, or you can use the Compustar Drone module. This module can be controlled with an app from your smartphone. You can remote start, lock, unlock, pop the trunk/hatch all from you phone from anywhere. For an extra fee you can track the vehicle as well, straight from your phone. Most auto insurance companies will give you a discount for that feature.
