50" Casablanca Delta II ceiling fan (1 of 5)

Описание к видео 50" Casablanca Delta II ceiling fan (1 of 5)

This is one out of five ceiling fans from Winnie's.

All five are dated June 11, 1993, and this fan is 887th unit made that day.

The blades had to be repainted on all five of them because the old clear coating started to peel off on some blades on all five fans. The switch cap was also repainted since it was scratched up.

This fan has a replacement pull chain switch, while the other four have the original pull chain switch, and yes the pull chain sequence starts with low from the factory, so whoever replaced the pull chain switch just wired it the same way.

Yes, you read it right. It did spin slower on low with 4 blades and even 2 blades than it did with all 5 blades. And it's probably because the bearing issue has developed throughout the video. It was silent when I ran it with all 5 blades even on high, but when I turned it on medium with 4 blades, it started to make bearing noise. I recorded the motor running without the blades first before I installed the blades, so it was before the bearing issue has developed. The blades are also out of clock, which caused some wobbling. But it blows tons of air with an Emerson K55 motor. This fan is shown on all three speeds with all five blades as well as four blades and two blades.
