Gangauri Ghat is one of the two very famous ghats of the well-known Lake Pichola in Udaipur. This ghat is very beautiful itself, and from here you can have a very beautiful and scenic view of Lake Pichola along with the surrounding area. Gangauri Ghat is also known by the name Gangaur Ghat.

It is built behind the Jagdish Temple near the City Palace, and near it is the very well-known Bagore Ki Haveli, which has now turned into a museum. This ghat is about three and a half kilometers away from Udaipur Railway Station. Here, almost all the time, you can see an abundance of tourists.

There are three big doors with beautiful carvings on them, known as the Tripolia of the Gangaur Ghat, and a very beautiful palace is built on top of these gates, which is decorated with glass work.

A lot of peigons are also present here, who keep flying from time to time due to the movement of the tourists. Tourists like to have their photos taken with these flying peigons. Along with all this, this ghat also has vital cultural importance. Here, the Gangaur festival and the Jaljhulni Ekadashi are celebrated with grandeur.

The Gangaur Festival is celebrated here with great pomp and show. This place is a must-visit place in Udaipur and should be included in the top places to visit in Udaipur.
