Deine Lakaien - Dark Star (20 Years of Electronic Avantgarde)

Dear music friends and fans,
"Dark Star", the title song of the album of the same name and the first song that really helped spreading our name here for you from our "20 Years of Electronic Avantgarde“ album — for orchestra and band.
The gloomy hunt through the universe for the dark star that promises love and ruin, in wildly repeated sixteenth notes of all instrument groups, accompanied by Robert Willcocks on guitar and Katharina Garrard on keyboards.
Here, too, after the second chorus, the instrumental part tells of inner suffering, which turns more and more into desire and leads to the violent final part, which once again brings the whole orchestra and the singing, here in an unusually high pitch, to a final climax and a fall leads into the abyss.
At this point, once again kudos to the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt for their musical, but also visibly enthusiastic commitment, which is absolutely appreciated by the audience here.
