The SSB Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) for Service Entry candidates is a vital component of the psychological assessment process, specifically tailored to gauge an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and leadership capabilities in alignment with the 15 Officer-Like Qualities (OLQs). The TAT comprises a series of ambiguous black-and-white images shown to the candidate one by one, each for 30 seconds, followed by 4 minutes to write a story.
