Sarah's birthday is upon the Barnes' household, but Ste staying is causing tension in the family. Amy reassures a worried Ste that they will just have to get used to him being there but she's forced to agree to Mike's ground rules about sleeping conditions. Ste is secretly enjoying being the source of all the tension. A shocked Sarah tries to reason with Amy but is disappointed when she won't listen. Amy's warning to the family to stay out of the way casts a dark shadow on the birthday celebrations.
