Santa Cruz Vintage Jumbo 'Adirondack / Mahogany' Acoustic Guitar

Best enjoyed with Headphones or good speakers!
The Santa Cruz Vintage Jumbo is referred to by the Californian builder as the ideal Blues guitar, but it's so much more than that - an intimate and familiar slope-shoulder dreadnought with unsurpassed build quality and craftsmanship, and the perfect songwriter's companion. Inspired by the classic round-shouldered dreadnoughts of the 1940’s, they infused it with the characteristic Santa Cruz volume, balance and complexity to create a guitar that can cover a lot of different styles. The VJ is dripping with the kind of deep, rich bass and sweet trebles that really shine in chord-oriented work.
This custom-ordered Vintage Jumbo features a stunning Adirondack Spruce top with advanced Adirondack bracing with hot hide glue construction, genuine Mahogany back-and-sides, and a custom-ordered Cocobolo fretboard and bridge. Other classic appointments include ivoroid body, fingerboard and headstock binding, Diamonds and Squares fretboard inlays and open-gear nickel Waverly tuners. As it is Santa Cruz's style to interpret rather than copy, the Vintage Jumbo Model combines the essence of coolness possessed by its forbearers with built-in improvements from SCGC’s decades of lutherie.
Recorded using Ear Trumpet Edwina and Milab VM-44 microphones, Solid State Logic SSL2+ audio interface, Logic Pro X and Waves Reverb and Mastering plugins, with an emphasis of capturing the true voice of each guitar.
