When Gordon Freeman jumped into the portal to Xen, the Lambda team knew that the fate of the world rested on his shoulders. This is their story as they try their best to aid Dr Freeman and ensure he achieves his goal.

This is an AI-driven audio drama based on the "Half-Life" franchise by Valve Software, and "Black Mesa" by Crowbar Collective. In Crowbar Collective's reimagining of the Xen levels, Freeman is sent health, ammunition, and well-wishes by the Lambda Team in the form of supply capsules that occasionally materialise near the player.

I often wondered what this experience must have been like for the Lambda crew, and the more I thought on it, the more I realised that it would be a great candidate for an audio drama. This is the first instalment of what will be a multi-part catalog of their attempts to aid Freeman's mission into the unknown.
