Every tribe of Nagaland have a distinct patterns/colours/designs of shawls and lower garments for both men and women. Shawls in the video are some of the commonly used shawls/garments which are only worn by Yimchunger ladies. Shawls identify the wearer of different tribes, sexes and social status of Nagas with its distinct patterns/designs/sizes etc. Each shawl has its unique history of origination and derivation of its style at times. However, like other tribes, these ladies' shawls are worn and well preserved by Yimchunger Naga.
