La Abadía del Crimen Music Score (Gwendal's Crystal Palace arrangement)

Описание к видео La Abadía del Crimen Music Score (Gwendal's Crystal Palace arrangement)

"La Abadía del Crimen" is a fantastic video game based on Umberto Eco's "The Name of the Rose", released in the 80s. Today, the game is still praised by critics due to its unique features, considering it's an 8-bit piece of software: excellent AI, beautiful isometric graphics and impressive game design.

The game featured some Bach pieces for the intro and ending, but it also used an excerpt of Gwendal's "Crystal Palace" for some in-game scenes.

Some years ago, I used to play with "Amadian", a great folk music band for which I wrote this arrangement of the original piece.
There are some minor differences from the original record (e.g. the trumpet part is not written in Bb, but in C key since the part was intended to be replaced by a keyboard).
