Best investment for comfortable sleep in a cold home
My central heater broke so it’s been pretty chilly at home. I got tired of huddling around a little space heater so I looked into purchasing a heated mattress pad and let me tell you it’s been the best investment for the past cold Winter months and recent chilly Spring. I really like the temperature control settings that go as high as 10 although 10 is pretty darn hot. I usually set it at the highest to level 5-6 warmth. The heat distribution is excellent and your blanket traps a lot of the radiant heat to be toasty warm. I recommend that you set it to a comfortable setting and not too hot, stay hydrated and keep water next to your bed side or runs humidifier because the heat can dry out a bit... I’ve woken up with severe dry mouth. This is great also for sore or tight muscles since the heat feels like it’s melting away your knots and pains like butter.
