Jaguar Type 00 EV: Price, Specs, Availability

The Jaguar Type 00 concept makes quite a statement. The dramatic coupe follows Jaguar's recent controversial rebranding, which ushered in a new set of badges and a colorful video campaign. But the Type 00, revealed at Miami Art Week, finally provides a glimpse of what to expect from the electric Jaguars that should hit the road in late 2026.
While the first of the new armada of Jaguars will be a four-door grand tourer, that car should follow the brutalist vision presented by the Type 00. The name marries the "Type" nomenclature from past Jaguars with two zeros, one to reference the lack of tailpipe emissions from its future lineup and the other representing the rebirth of the company, using this car as a new starting point.
The concept echoes the elongated two-door proportions of Jaguar icons such as the E-type, but the details of the car are a complete departure from the past. Instead of slinky curves, the Type 00 is dominated by hard edges and a monolithic presence. The front end is blunt and upright, with a rectangular grille shape in the middle composed of a series of horizontal elements—a recurring design theme Jaguar calls the "strikethrough." The face is completed by simple, angular headlights in the form of a singular LED line, giving the car an assertive and slightly robotic look.
