Ubuntu 24.04 server on VMware Fusion Apple Silicon (M1 Max)

In this short video, I will step through a very basic installation of Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS (arm64) in VMware Fusion 13.5.1, running on an M1 Max MacBook pro. In earlier versions of Fusion and Linux kernels, it was a slight challenge getting Linux installed on Apple Silicon. The goal of this short video is to verify a quick and easy installation without any special work-arounds.

NOTE: I am away from my normal recording gear so had to make due with my AirPod Pros since they actually picked up my voice better than my Macbook Pro built-in microphone.
