Why The Shure PGA-48 Isn't A Good Microphones For Interviews / ENG / Broadcasting

At only about $40 on Amazon the Shure PGA-48 seems like a bargain for a quality XLR microphone.

Thinking about using it for broadcasting, interviews, and ENG work?

Unfortunately this mic's handling noise makes it problematic for use in such applications.

I also got a few recommendations for alternatives from Reddit including the Sennheiser MD46.
