Part 1 of 2: Technics SL-1210GR and Dynavector 20X2H Play Bob James and Earl Klugh

Описание к видео Part 1 of 2: Technics SL-1210GR and Dynavector 20X2H Play Bob James and Earl Klugh

I've been curious about this combo, so today I upgraded my cartridge and phono stage!

This is literally the first complete song this cartridge/stylus has played. I was told by Alon at Shelley's Stereo (http://www.shelleysstereo.com) that the cartridge will settle in and start sounding its best after 15-20 hours. I'll post a "once broken in" video in the coming weeks.

Still, it sounds pretty nice, doesn't it?

I think it's time to finally use the Funk Firm-supplied adhesive dots and stick the Achromat to the platter. As seen in the video, it's fairly warped. Hopefully they're correct in saying that using the sticky dots will flatten it out.

The new stuff is from Shelley's Stereo in Woodland Hills. The record is an original US pressing of "1+1" (https://smile.amazon.com/One-Bob-Jame....
