Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on March 30, 2016. It features Halina Peabody, who was born in Krakow, Poland, on December 12, 1932. Halina survived on false papers and was liberated by the Soviets in July 1944.
