This is the first of three episodes taking you through William Shakespeare's play, 'Macbeth'.

You'll learn about the play's context and playwright Shakespeare's message, as well as diving straight into Act 1, where our tragic hero meets the three witches that promise him glory and power - as long as he and his wife are prepared to commit murder to get there.

You'll be given key quotations for each character to help you understand the play, as well as Grade 9 perceptive points to lift your analysis.
